Message	gets - simly because of the higher percieved risk factor. Known vendor vs individual. Secondly it depends on the part itself. For instance a new tranny from Coz is 1800 but even Z1 sells a used tranny for 550 not 900 (50% off) . It has more to do with the risk of buying a used tranny. Similarly - if you have a trim pc that costs $50 new you are more likely to get $25 used for it because a simple picture shows its in good condition.
